This saga appears only in one manuscript, MS 1318 (Yellow Book of Lecan) in Trinity College Dublin, starting in III, col. 786, line 46. In Binchy’s edition, this manuscript is referred to as manuscript Y. A digital image of this manuscript is available at: Irish Script on Screen.

Another copy of the poem in Section 20 occurs in the manuscript MS B iv 2 in the Royal Irish Academy, starting on f. 149, line 17, beginning Cidh dech do linnibh flata. This manuscript was written by Michael O’Clery in 1627-8. In Binchy’s edition, this manuscript is referred to as manuscript B.
